Boat trip: Southern Islands and the Aquarium with Moko
A day or half-day at sea to discover the islets of the southern lagoon and the snorkeling spot known as the Aquarium, with Moko as captain.
The Rodrigues lagoon is five to six times larger than the island itself — needless to say, it is worth the trip. Moko is one of the go-to skippers for exploring the southern islets.
The Aquarium
The Aquarium is the nickname given to one of the finest snorkeling spots in the lagoon: shallow waters, well-preserved corals, a multitude of tropical fish. The name is well deserved — it really feels like swimming in a life-size natural pool.
The southern islands
The outing usually includes a visit to one or more islets in the southern lagoon — deserted beaches, swimming, lunch on the sand depending on the package chosen.
